Is Meowstodon only on Android?
Yes, Android is the only platform we currently plan to support. There is a web version used for testing during development but it's not intended for typical use.
Are platforms other than Mastodon supported?
Meowstodon was built around Mastodon and it's the target experience. There are some other platforms being considered for future support, but no promises.
Is Meowstodon on F-Droid?
No, Meowstodon is not on F-Droid and support is not currently planned.
What is the "Popular" label on posts?
The "Popular" rank is calculated from engagement counts on posts on the device and the label is applied to the top 10%.
Enabling website share button support
Tapping on "Share to Twitter", "Share to X", or "Share to Mastodon" buttons on website can open the Meowstodon compose page. To enable you must open the Android app info page for Meowstodon, tap "Open by default", and select the links to open in the app.
